The band’s striking dynamics and punishingly catchy grooves blaze ambitious new trails through familiar punk rock territory. Fans of the Pixies, Fugazi, Jawbreaker, and The Clash will feel right at home nodding along (or kicking their friends in the shins) to Manic Third Planet’s addictive staccato riffing and tension-heavy phrasings. While exuding catchiness often described as Weezer-esque, the band also harnesses the darker energy of contemporary punk acts like Amyl & the Sniffers and The Paranoyds.
