Do you have a house sound?
No. We have made loud records and quiet ones. What we do have is a room that handles loud guitars and real drums without a fight.

Can I bring my own engineer or producer?
Yes. Day rates are the same and we will run the room for you.

Do I own the recordings?
Yes, outright, once the balance is paid. No points, no publishing, no royalty. The studio takes nothing.

Is this the same thing as the label?
Same owner, separate things. Booking studio time or release services does not put you on Boared to Death Records, and it gives the studio no share of your songs - no publishing, no points, no royalty. Release services means we do the legwork of getting your record out under your own name, on your own accounts. If we ever talk about a release on the label, that is an entirely separate conversation.

How long does a mix take?
Usually a week from the day we get your session, depending on what is in the queue. Rush turnarounds are possible, just ask.

Do I have to record here to use the release services?
No. If you tracked somewhere else, or at home, we can still handle the release. It just works better when we have heard the record.

How long do you keep my files?
At least 90 days after delivery. Keep your own backup as well. Longer archival can be arranged.
