The Red Robot are a punk quartet from Redding, California. From 2002 to 2009 they built one of the most loyal followings in the Northern California underground, playing all over Redding and Chico. They went quiet after that, sold out a reunion show in 2013, and went quiet again.
Now they're back, and the times have caught up with them. Animal Body Plan is three songs about life in a winner-take-all society. By global and historical standards most of us are rich, and yet our biological, psychological and social needs go unmet in service of a neo-feudal economy. The band plays with a focused, primal ferocity and isn't afraid to name who's responsible.
Chris Keene (Saves the Day, Emery) engineered the EP at Cutters Cathedral in Chico. Jason Livermore mixed and mastered it at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, the studio behind records by NOFX, Against Me! and Alkaline Trio. "Dead Body Lockbox" was featured on Chris DeMakes a Podcast (Less Than Jake) before the record was even announced.
The Red Robot are Adam Prado (bass), Kyle Miller (guitar, vocals), Noah G. Prado (drums, percussion) and Tatton White (guitar, vocals).
